Unfortunately for the Malabar Gold, I tested it next to the Espresso Ultima. I found the Ultima to be incredibly rich and smooth whereas the Malabar Gold was much less smooth and had an aftertaste I'd rather avoid. I gave the rest of the lb bag to a young co-worker to take home and held on to the Ultima.
Uncomfortable with the sour/acidic aftertaste
